ib50 - called for medical

I sent the certificate off to DWP and got another medical appointment through from atos. So I called DWP to find out what to do and they advised me that they sent my letter through to atos before atos sent me the appointment so its proably crossed and give Atos a chance to respond and I could ignore the medical. I am totally confused I was expecting a letter from DWP not atos. I think this is a bit strange. Anyway I didnt go to Atos medical and now I just got a letter from DWP entitled ESA! and I am on incapacity. What is happening with this system? I have to wait 24 hours for a call back and have been left in limbo. I sent an email to my MP and have had no response. They have still not sent an IB113 through to my GP.

I can't offer any helpful information, only sympathy: it's an extraordinary mess. Or perhaps not that extraordinary these days. Do let us know what happens next.
