Just out of interest Steve. Given that these are merely proposals at present how long could we be looking at before they get through commons and parliament and become law. I have e mailed one of the law lords at the forefront of welfare reform today too.

BTW you cannot get an e mail to MP's on some of the sites suggested as there are no Mp's any longer. As parliament has been dissolved therer are no sitting MP's till after the elctions and the parliamentary website has been adjusted accordingly. You can try e mailing them at their personal websites that many have in their constituencies. the main protaganist, Yvette cooper was MP for Featherstone.Pontefract and Knottingley.
