New Claim: DLA. Doctors report. Sorry bit urgent was created by WmWallace
Hi All
I am making a new claim for DLA I am also due to go to an appeal next week, against a decision not to put me in the support group, but in the WRAG group ESA.
My representative has had a medical report from my GP which is highly supportive of my claims, I should be in the support group.
Question, can I use this report as evidence in my claim for DLA? or will I have to get a new one done.
One last point, do the Tribunal base there decision on the day off the appeal, or the medical decision I am appealing over?
Sorry its so short
regards,
Wm Wallace.

Hi,
Short answer, yes you can use your medical report compiled for your ESA appeal for your DLA claim.
The tribunal is looking at matters as they stood on the date of the decision you are appealing against.
Good luck,
Steve

Hi,
Thanks Steve, that is good to know. Steve I am having a problem with, "The Care during the day DLA". Encouraging to get out off bed and to go to bed, what does this mean.
I do not know what to put, or i mean understand the point.
Can you help

The guides for claiming DLA should be able to answer your question, and can be found in the DLA resources section HERE.
