Just a quick update, I've now received the report from the American Specialist, it's very useful and is in support of my appeal. Also I passed a copy of this on to my GP last week, he is also preparing a report for me which I can collect tomorrow.
In addition I received a phone call from my consultant's secretary last week, she requested a copy of the original medical report (completed by one of their doctors and which I contested) and said my consultant has agreed to re-do the report which is great news. They will be forwarding this to me so at least I'll hopefully have three reports which will reflect a true and accurate picture of my condition.
I also had my ESA medical, daunting and still none the wiser...hopefully this will go smoothly..don't think I could stand having to appeal for that as well. Fingers crossed. Anyone know how long they have to make a decision following a medical? Many thanks
