Pathways Interview before ESA Medical

I have got an Atos ESA medical in 2 weeks time but I have received letter saying I need to attend a pathways to work interview next week!, before my medical!

I am currently suffering very bad bouts of anxiety and panic attacks and suffering from a few side of effects of my medication and really dont feel up to attending an interview, do I have to attend this and can they punish me for not attending.

Hi Carlos. My OH had to attend his pathways first interview a good few weeks before his medical - AND HE IS STILL EMPLOYED! Following his ESA medical being postponed again yesterday, he will have to attend his next scheduled one too. More hoops!!
