ESA medical was created by dean stockton
I had my medical on Tuesday, I had hardly sat down on the low seated chair, the only one with anything resembling arms, when we were called in, because the chair was that low it took 3 or 4 attempts with help from my daughter to get out of the chair. When I got to the room there was 2 chairs one similar to the one I had just got out of. I don't think there is a need to mention what the first question was but as soon as I tried to answer, even though I was tired out due to the side effects of the majority of my medication, another side effect kicked in, speech problems, I just couldn't get a word out, the more I tried the harder it became, after somewhere between 30 & 45 seconds the doctor asked my daughter to answer for me after that very little of the questions asked were directed towards me and when a question was it would take me an age to acknowledge that a question had been asked to me and even longer to get a 1 word answer out, Both side effects for the medication I am on can be found on-line if you type in the name of my medication followed by side effects, all but 1 drug I am on causes drowsiness/sleepiness but only 1 causes speech problems As for examining me all the doctor did was listen to my chest and say it sounded clear, hospital doctors did this in the 90's and told me I was fine, oh!! how wrong they got proven. Then some slight lifting and twisting of my legs, no more than a couple of inches off the ground. The doctor ended the examination by basically saying my problems were mental rather than physical   I thought then why have I needed a stick from the mid 90's for all but approx 4 years when a back specialist used epidural injections to try and combat the pain.

So I think that Blackpool will get a copy of the report and I will lose the middle rate care & high rate mobility.
I also believe the doctor will put on the report that I didn't co-operate and I will be denied ESA, but any so called non co-operation was due to the medication and the side effects they cause, not deliberate on my part, unless you would call side effects of medication as deliberate.
If I had gone alone, dream on, couldn't make the bus stop at my end, I have a feeling the so called medical would have lasted less than 1 minute with the refused to answer any questions put into the form.
To me there is a difference between unwilling to and someone who can not answer the questions

Is anyone willing to give an opinion of how this medical may be viewed by the decision maker? Especially as my actions, in my opinion, and by what a number of sites for each medication say that what IMO happened was due to the side effects of the medication.

I might be wrong here, but I didn't think that they could stop DLA after taking an ESA medical. These are 2 separate benefits. Although the DWP move the blinking goal posts that often within the same claim, anything is possible. It wont be long before they withdraw benefits if we cannot prove we can walk on water...
