HELP - Revised ESA statement!!!!! was created by ME 51
Hello,
I wonder if anyone can help me as I've received a form this morning (ESA 14N) that has small red writing at the top saying "Revised" on it! does this mean that my ESA with not go to appeal now

It states that from 14/4/10 I will receive 91.40 then on the 2nd page states that I will receive 89.80 from 16/06/10?

I have failed 2 medicals the last giving me 12pts for mental health and 0 for my ME etc.

I have been to hell and back since last June when I failed the 1st medical and received 0 pts and had a complaint upheld as the nurse was very hostile etc and I have been close to a breakdown with all the stress and my health :(

My CPN sent in my appeal form in May and since then I've had my ESA stopped HB/CC suspended and now this statement and as its sat cannot call esa to find out what it means :S

I would appreciate any advice as I don't want to spend the weekend worrying :(

Thank you

looks like they are giving you the money again, I think and its a guess the reason its going down a couple of pounds after a certain date... is to do with changes in the age allowance addition paid?????

Thanks Dave - do you know if I will be able to have the money back dated to june 09 when I failed the 1st medical and my MP asked for a 2nd one with a "doctor" which again I failed with only 12 points! it looks like maybe they have looked at all my medical evidence and made the correct decision!

I do hope so as this unfair system has been so stressful:(
Could you please tell me what the age allowance is? I'm 52 if that makes any difference?

many thanks

Can't see why it has been reduced. I would ask them why?

Hi

You say your ESA is being reduced from June is it possible that it was June 2009 and that is back pay and the increased rate is as of now? Also when i failed my ESA medical i still received ESA payments along with Council tax/housing benefit but i did have to write and ask them to continue payments until tribunal but fortunately they changed their decision a week before the tribunal was meant to be heard. But it does look like they have changed their minds in your case. I find it very confusing the way they put their letters together telling you what you will be recieving on a weekly basis.

Kind regards
Julie

Hi Julie,

I contacted them today and they confirm that I have now been put in the WFG dont know how long for or why they changed their mind as nothings changed but at least I dont have to go through a tribunal now, they are calling me tomorrow to confirm payments etc - I'm releived but upset as I can't believe what I have been put through to get put in the WFG where I should have been put last summer!
They have confirmed that my HB+CC will now be paid which is a relief as I received a notice to quit from my landlod :(

I glad things worked out for you Julie as I know how stressful it is when your unwell.

can I just ask if you received a review date when they changed their mind?
