My Pension was created by mairit
First of all, hello to everybody on the site. I decided to join because of a few reasons. In a past Tribunal, it was made clear that the Tribunal did not believe my evidence (in short, a liar) and I have it in black and white. Needless to say, I applied again as was granted DLA for 3 years. I have Severe Fibromyalgia, chronic IBS, Diverticulitis, Faecal Incontinence and involuntary tremors. Think that list is enough! With the onset of this new debacle I have found myself in a state of stress due to the worry of all that I have heard but this is not the reason for writing.
I received a phone-call last week that since I will be 60 years of age this month, I am entitled to a pension. Next week I will have a phone-call from the Department to answer all their questions. What I do not understand is that I will not receive my pension until November and would like to know if the 4 month gap is backdated.

The pension age for women is being raised to 65 and is being phased in over a period of time. You won't get your pension until November and is not backdated. My wife is in exactly the same boat as you.
