I believe as long as you don't earn more from working than the amount of pension you receive & are not re employed in the same job you had when you retired you wouldn't lose any of your pension.

I think you will need to clarify the 'grounds' of your pension sammy.
Mine states i am able to work as long as i do not earn over the final wage i was on at retirement. (increased by the same percentage as any cost of living increase on your pension, minus the pension value)
Not the value of pension i receive.
If my earnings are over this i lose the pension.
Mine also clearly states i cannot do the job i was incapable of or i will lose the pension.
I can re join the pension scheme in my new job because i retired before the age of 50 and rejoined still under age 50. And i still work for the same people.
Im not absolutely sure how it would apply to working elsewhere.

Hi Sammy
As someone previously said, you should check your rules and regulations carefully. I am not able to undertake any type of work, as I have been classed as incapable to take up any work. So therefore if I was well enough to work in any capacity, I would loose my ill health pension. So, everyone's rules are slightly different.
