Support Group was created by chafur47
Am terrified, can someone help please?

Live on my own, homebound/bedbound, and no dependents or relatives. I am in recept of 19 hours of care weekly.

In receipt of DLA, and IS, disability premium, and long sickness benefit.

Where can I find out the criteria for those who will be migrated to the "Support Group" ???

Many thanks

I might be wrong but I think if you look under IB and take the quick test it tells you the criteria for meetin gthe support component of ESA. That is how I found it anyway. Hope this helps.

Go to this page - www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/help-for-claimants/esa

Click on "Understanding employment and support allowance" at the top of the page.

Go to page 26.

I cannot imagine that somebody in your position with a high level of care needs will fail to end up in the support group when the migration happens, so please try not to worry.

Am sorry I'm not able to quote support group criteria, perhaps someone can, though it is difficult without a full knowledge of your limitations.

If for whatever reason you did not end up in the support group, you would have to seek professional help from a support agency and appeal.

Best wishes
