cold weather payments

hi i am a little confused regarding the cold weather payments, my area is in receipt of 4 payments, i am on esa income related, its was stopped on the 8/12/2010, after i was awarded no points, i am appealing and have just had a payment on the assessment rate, can i assume i am not entitled to the cold weather payments becasue i am appealing or is it because i am on the assessment phase thanks.

If you are appealing an ESA adverse decision, unfortunately you will not receive cold weather payments.

Only claimants in the income-based WRAG or the support group, will receive cold weather payments.

Hi, it is a shame, especially as it's been the coldest December on record and a lot of illness about!

And you can by a lot of beer with £25

And that would definately take my mind off being cold!
