IB claimants successfully transfered to ESA wil initially receive Contribution Based ESA. This is not means tested although their are deductions for pensions of more than £85/week.
Legislation to be introduced in the next couple of months will limit the time you can receive ESA(CB) to one year for members of the WRAG, but not the Support Group. After this time you will be eligible for Income Related ESA, subject to a means test involving assets and income.
Hope this helps

Will PHI payments be used too?
I didn't realise pensions would reduce ESA (cb) so this is another new facet I've discovered.
Will my wife's pension income be taken into account too or is that only for ESA(income benefits) only?

I am afraid I don't know whether your PHI is included or not, if you want a more accurate understanding of what your net income might be, you should speak to the CAB or Welfare Rights.
ESA(CB) can only be claimed on behalf of the person making the claim, ESA(IR) would normally be claimed by the person and their partner.

I am afraid we cannot answer such a detailed question, due the limitations that the forums place on our being aware of all the details of your case.
You need to speak to the CAB or Welfare Rights if you want an accurate understanding of what you might receive on ESA.
Apologies
