If you do a Forum search, top right of page, with Fybromyalgia as the search criteria, you will find that quite a few members have been successful in receiving DLA for this condition.

Hopefully, some of those who have will also reply.

Hi

I was awarded DLA initially in 2000, renewed in 2003 and 2005 before any diagnosis! I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in 2008.

Just remember that it isn't the illness you get the awards for it's the way your illness affects your daily life.

Hope this helps

yes, i recieve dla as among other things i have fybromyalgia quite badly, it affects my life dreadfully and has caused great pain and disability, i recieved a letter last week from dwp casting doubt over my entitlement to dla even though it was awarded indefinately, they have sent me a new claim pack, watch this space for an update in the next few weeks.
