Support group... sample letter was created by dudley
PLEASE can anyone help me to locate a sample letter I read within this site approx 23rd Jan 2011. (tho not in the forum). The piece i read was generally talking about asking a decision maker to reconsider and place a person into a support group. further down the page was a link which brought up an example letter stating how such a letter could be worded. i have trolled the site looking for it for what seems forever but to no avail. again... Please can anyone help?

Go to Help for Claimants.

Go to the ESA section.

Go to the guide to appeals.

Go to page 8.

I think this is what you are looking for, but if not, please do come back to us and we'll see if we can help further.

wow how did you do that... so quick.
THANKYOU for the suggestion however the sample was not found within a guide. I was reading from the site one night and did not know what a support group was (by this you can see i am brand newish to these procedings) I looked for the answer and found on a general info page a blue link which showed a sample letter regarding a persons request for the support group as they where mentally incapable of attending the wrag. HOPE THIS MAKES SENSE

I see what you mean. The one I referred to, under the heading "Where you have been placed in the work-related activity group
Where you have been placed in the work-related activity group but you believe you should be in
the support group, use something along the following lines:" is a general one. I can't recall the one you refer to, but I'll have a rummage around and see if I can find it.
