Exemption from prescription costs was created by mayflower
I wanted to thank this site and especially Pat for information about applying for a medical exemption from prescription costs. I had been using the Pre Payment Certificate but on reading a post of Pat's asked my GP if she would support an application for an Exemption Certificate which she did there and then. The new certificate came within a week.
I have had asthma, well controlled, for years; CFS/ME dating back to 2006 as well as more recently depression & the ground for my exemption on the application form FP92A, was:
My GP has also said she will support my applications for DLA & a Blue Badge, so with the help of this site I'll start filling in the forms. Thanks to this site I was awarded ESA after the WCA with ATOS last year & will hope for the same good result with DLA!!
Thanks to all the moderators & best wishes to all B&W members. B&W has to be the best site for advice & support about benefits & for the most friendly, compassionate & helpful forum posters.
