I have just received my DLA form pack (filling it in is going to be a daunting task!) and was wondering if anyone has successfully managed to claim DLA for hidradenitis suppurativa?

With DLA its not the medical condition that you have (generally) but the help you need from someone else, (the needs arising) that might lead to a component of DLA being awarded.

I know two people who get LRC for Hidradenitis Suppurativa. It's based on care needs. i.e Cysts, abscesse's that require dressings and so forth.
