half pay & ESA

My 28 weeks of SSP is ending soon.My employer has been paying full pay during this period ,this will reduce to half pay which will last another six months.
Can I claim ESA c whilst still getting half pay?

Hi Icdemon,

Yes I claimed ESA when my SSP ran out and I was getting Half pay. I recieved a form from the wages office from my work stating SSP had run out and I had to send it to DWP.I get CB ESA.
