Hi All,
Could we ask everyone to be especially careful about posting potentially defamatory comments, such as claims that an examining healthcare professional lied on a medical report.
It would be exceedingly difficult to prove that a doctor lied, rather than that they were just incompetent or had accidentally clicked on the wrong option, for example.
Three sites have recently been closed down as a result of legal threats. In many cases, where a large and powerful company threatens server hosts with legal action, a site is simply closed down without notice regardless of the rights and wrongs of the issue.

We have asked the moderators to delete any posts that have the potential to be defamatory and to err on the side of caution if there is any doubt. Bear in mind also that moderators only see posts in isolation when moderating, so they will judge them solely on the content of that specific post.
