I have just been place into the ESA Support group and on my letter it says "extra money because of the Disability Income Guarantee" - could someone please tell me what that means?

From what I can find the Disability Income Guarantee is an umbrella term for a number of benefits/premiums paid to those on low income.

In ESA terms this usually refers to the Enhanced Disability Premium, is the amount in question £14.05?

In the case of the person I'm representing, a single man just been moved from WRAG to Support group , £14.80 .
