Hi - I am on IB Migration and sent in ESA 50 a fortnight ago. A GP I have never seen before phoned me yesterday to say that she had an ESA form to fill in for me(My old GP has left the practice).I was able to give her some details of my health difficulties over the phone but was somewhat taken by surprise.
Is this form she received sent by ATOS or the DWP Decision maker? And does it have any bearing on whether they are about to call me for an assessment?
Sorry to take up your time but it is all so very worrying.
The form (ESA113) can be sent by either the DWP or ATOS, it is usually requested because either there is a specific issue not addressed sufficiently by your ESA50 and/or attached evidence, or there is a lack of supporting evidence in the first place.
I'm afraid there is no way to know whether it will lessen or increase the liklihood fo a medical assessment.
Good luck
Gordon
