arrived for my wifes medical at 12.45 today only to be told again that it was cancelled due to running late, they told us by one person they had rung at 12.15 to let us know, then by another that they had rung at 12.20, i told both persons we didnt leave house till gone 12.20 and had received no call, by this time my wife was extremely upset and very anxious, we then was told we could wait for 1hr if wanted, we both decided that we would wait until we relized we were expected to wait while everyone was on their lunch by this time my wife had had enough and said she wanted to go home. when i checked the phone on arriving home the call actually came through to our number at 12.39, exactly 11 mins before she was due to arrive for medical...how can happen, do these people not relize that most of the people they are dealing with are sick and all this causes much distress.

Also contacting your local MP about the situation and making a complaint to him/her as well may also be beneficial.
