i only scored 6 pionts at my medical for esa and have decided to appeal, this is the first time i have ever claimed a benefit and you would think that after years of paying tax when your in need you would get some form of support, i have found the whole situation very stressfull, i have a lower leg deformity and severe osteoarthrosis and i am waiting for two ops for leg alignment and a new knee, i am a 43 year old mother of two, i am trying to sort out what i need for the appeal as i cant get any representation from anyone from CAB even though i dont work and my other half was made redundant last month, i have collated medical history to send, but i have to represent my self and just dont think i can do it, as i havent got a clue what is expected of me any advice ?

In the first instance you may wish to refer to the guide entitled "Employment and Support Allowance appeals" in the ESA resources.

Scroll down to the appropriate guide.
