hi,can anyone help i got a visit from someone from the dss about a week ago,they didn't inform me they were coming, at the door they showed there id and said this was a spot check,has anyone heard of this happening? they took my details and left,it so happens i am due for reassesment for the wca in december? is there a connection any advice would be appreciated.

The DWP carry out random checks on claimants, these can consist of a form to be completed or occassionally a home visit.

It is very unlikely that this has anything to do with your transfer, as this process is being handled by a seperate group within the DWP, from those who manage your current benefits on a day to day basis.
