Contributions Based ESA

The simplest strategy would have been to send a letter to everybody in the country, advising that if the relevant criteria and permutations apply, your benefit will be stopped in a year!

After nearly 2 years as an ESA claimant, i am willing to believe almost anything!

I had been on Contribution ESA for almost 18months up to my appeal (which I failed) but Im now told that because of my ailment being different (only because it has got worse and differnt words are used on my GP FIT note) I have had to put in another new claim for ESA which Iv been told only verbly that I will get it again (Contribution ) but also told that if the new bill is passed for ESA to be only allowed at CONTRIBUTION for 12 months only. After this period you will have to be assesed at INCOME BASED rate. The new law is not passed yet but will kick in on start of new tax year APRIL 2012 if the bill is passed. To me this is a worry as my husband only works part time and his income will be taken into account on my calculation of my income based ESA as form April 2012.
