Quick question.
WFI on Friday.
Are the people that interview you at a work focused interview; from a private company or the jobcentre or is this question unanswerable.
The reason being; i read in somthing Steve posted that these people get about a £3000 bonus if they find me a job;i imagine we will be on first name terms from the start so its nice and cosy.
So obviously whats best for me is going to be her first priority
Thanks in advance for any responces.

You have to referred on to the Work Programme, to see an advisor from one of the companies supplying this service.

Thanks Gordon might get a more realistic interview about my employment opportunities from JCP staff!!!!!
At least they've not got the £3ooo carrot dangling infront of them.

I've read that if (some of) the private companies find you a job they get paid £14,000+ << NO, this is NOT a mis-print! (and if they don't find you a job - they don't get paid at all).
Hi RJ,
It is correct that under the "Works Programme", a "Works Programme Provider" can receive £14,000 for getting a previously long term sick claimant into employment, and keeping them in employment for a stipulated period.
However, the topic in question is WFI's, Work Focussed Interviews, as Gordons says earlier on in the thread, WFI's will be carried out by JCP staff and not a Works Programme Provider Advisor.
