from MP ref 12 month cb

I don't know wether to laugh or cry. Recieved a letter from my MP this morning in reply to my pointing out to him how the 12 month cb limit will affect me.

'On your specific point about ESA being withdrawn after 12 months, I am happy to reassure you that this will only apply to people who are in the work-related activity group [ie those who are considered fit to work] because, of course, they should have found a job by then. There won't however be any limit for people who are on income related ESA or those in the support group [ie people who will find it very difficult to return to work unaided because of their condition] so if anyone's income is too low or they're unable to get back to work without the right support, they will not lose benefit' He doesn't even know what WRAG is? He's a minister I just despair I really do

You should write back and ask him what happens to those people who are unable to find a job ?

Clearly your MP doesn't have the faintest idea what the WRAG is. Perhaps you could write a letter to educate him?

I intend to as soon as my brain will allow and I've calmed down somewhat
