Am i entitled to see points awarded for ESA?

Form ESA85A should confirm if an exemption applies?

I have sent a letter asking them to reconsider my application. I mentioned I required forms ESA85A and ESA65 and I complained about all the conflicting information that I was given.

Hi,just to let you know that my husband is in exactly the same situation as you.
I, after many calls managed to speak to a chap who was rather reluctant to send out any info with regards as to how a decision was reached NOT to put my husband into the support group.
After asking me a few questions with regards to my husbands problems he said that the file would be sent for reconsideration to the senior decision maker. I asked what difference that would make as he/she would still be looking at the same information.
He suggested that i should supply further information as to why i think my husband should be in the support group.I told him that he had a rather detailed report from the GP what more did he want?
He said that the report confirmed the prognosis to which i replied that he ESA form gave great details as to the problems physically and especially mentally related to the prognosis, and without the decision makers report how am i in a position to appeal????
Can anyone advise should i demand a written statements of reasons before reconsideration?
Also they keep telling us that it is not the prognosis that count but rather what you can and cannot do, but when you tell them they do not want to believe you!!!!
What is going on here, can someone enlighten me please!!!

So

i was told exactly the same. as i didnt have a medical there was no esa65 & no points. i have appealed & the decision was upheld at reconsideration. i wrote a complaint letter & asked how did i qualify for esa if i was not awarded points, was it on the exceptional circumstances rule as i wasnt exempt? that was 2 weeks ago & im still awaiting a reply. i guess i'll just have 2 wait for my "bundle of documents" 2 arrive 2 decide wheather 2 continue with the tribunal or not. Its a total joke!

yes demand the esa85a & esa65, if like me ther apparently is no esa65 u could appeal, the decision will then b reconsidered by another DM. if the decision is not revised u should b sent ur "bundle of documents" which should contain all papers re ur case. im awaiting mine & if im still not happy im going 2 request all my info using the Request for Personal Information (Subject Access Request)there is a copy of the form somewhere on this site, sorry cant remember where.

im in the same position but the thing is, when we go 2 tribunal wee cant even complain that we werent told what wrag qualifying descriptors we scored points on because that really does not matter if we r fighting for the support group. all that matters is that we can prove we fit 1 or more of the support descriptors. so the DWP gets away with not doing there job properly again!
