Hello and help, just been notified by Atos that I am being called for a medical. What can I expect at the medical. I'm very nervous, I have many health issues and am concerned that they may try to focus on the minor issues and ignore others!!

Which benefit is the medical in connection with? The actual medical varies depending on the benefit being claimed.

I was asked at my medical about medication and any side effects. I was also asked to describe a typical day in detail. Watch out for extra questions with regard to your typical day and be prepared for further questionning on what you've said. You may or may not have a physical examination. The Doctor I saw was kind and reasonable and spent most of the 55 minutes I was in there typing the report from what I said and from what she saw!
Don't worry, there will be time for you to fill them in on anything you think they need to know. They will inevitably focus on those issues/questions from the ESA50 which will determine your eligibilty.

Received great news today I have just been informed that I have been successful with the ESA transfer from IB, I have been put in the support group. I would like to thank B & W for their fantastic guides/information. They were invaluable.
