Any Updates on Wait Times?

my daughter sent her esa50 off 8 weeks ago and not heard anything. i was told the form is with atos and she can be expected to go for a medical before xmas. i do hope we do not go through the same again as last time she lost her money right before xmas and the waiting is unbearable for her. she is on pins waiting. this has lead to her not sleeping at all now and insomnia

I had to wait 9 weeks 4 days from when I posted esa50 back to Atos until I recieved a letter from Jobcentre plus informing me I was being transferred from incapacity benefit to esa and placed into the support group and awarded contribution based esa.
