I scored about 60 points but put in WRAG! was created by TCP
I have worked out that on my limited capability for work questionnaire I scored in excess of 60 points and yet I was still put in WRAG. Why has this happened and has it happened to other people?

Hi TCP,
Unfotunately, the fact that it may be apparent that a claimant should be placed in the SG, does not always mean that said claimant is given SG status.
If you look through the forum this has happened to many members.

Thanks, Bro58. This is all pretty disgusting and my health is deteriorating further because of the upset and uncertainty. My MP said that genuinely disabled people have nothing to fear - I think he ought to change places with me for a year or so and he'll really open his eyes.

write and tell your mp what is happening with you. Mine actually thought WRAG was for people found fit to work so he didn't see a problem with contribution based ESA stopping after 12 months [some of the Lords are pushing for a minimum of 2 years] 'because they should have found a job by then'
and my mp is a minister
I am trying to educate him

I guess it would, theoretically, be possible (although unlikely) for someone to reach 60 points by scoring lower points in lots of descriptors - especially as no notice is taken of the cumulative effects of multiple impairments.
Lindaturner - I had a similar response from my MP regarding the 12 month limitation of ESA. He hasn't yet responded to my second communication putting him straight on this matter!
