It ought to be, but it may be quicker to notify the DWP office dealing with your ESA claim, to let them know that you are now receving DLA HRC.If you're awarded HRC, do you have to apply separately for the enhanced disability premium or is it automatically awarded (if eligible that is).

Hi D,
I would send copy of the DLA award letter to your local DWP benefits office, enquiring about entitlement to the premiums.
What the entitlement to different premiums basically does is raise the minimum guranteed income allowed for the claimant, any shortfall of this minimum guaranteed amount is made up with a top up, so it will depend on a claimants individual circumstances and income, as to how much of a top up they may get, if any.
See DWP info on premiums here. :

The pills are not allowing me to compute lol!
In this case :
A couple on Income Support with the disability premium (both on IB (not ESA))
One on HRM & HRC and the other on HRM & LRC
The site suggests Enhanced Disability Premium is awarded where the highest rate of Disabled Living Allowance is awarded.
I thought it was HRC only, not HRM ?

2/3rds of the way down under 'Receiving maintenance'
Receiving maintenance [HB Sch 5.47,HB(SPC) Sch 5.20; CTB Sch 4.48,CTB(SPC) Sch 3.20]
If you are entitled to the family premium, the first £15 a week of any money you get from an ex-partner or from the parent of a child or young person, provided that the child or young person is a member of your family, is disregarded. Maintenance payments which go direct to your child are treated as your income. This amount will be added to any other amounts of maintenance and the £15 disregard will apply in the same way. £15 is the maximum that can be disregarded in any week.
Otherwise, any money you get from an ex-partner should continue to be counted in full as income.
