Now I think I am entitled to the care supplement as I have Fibromyalgia and severe problems with arthiritis in my Knees spine and neck so much so I have days when my arms are so painful I can hardly move.
Does anyone think I should reapply for this I am a bit scared as they have only awarded it till September 2012.
Your advise on here was invaluable and I dont think I would have got anything without your advise

Earlier this year after 11 months and appealing my decision I was awarded higher rate mobility but no care, I was so pleased to get the Mobilty part that I was afraid to appeal the care part as they told me I could lose the lot if I did.

Hi S,
Again there would be some risk involved if you requested a review of your DLA award due to a deterioration or change in your medical conditions, and resulting limitations/needs.
I'm afraid that we could not possibly advise you whether or not to request such a review, it may be advisable to seek face to face advice from the CAB or similar advice agency, where they will have access to all your personal details, and will therefore be able to properly risk assess your case.
You can check which advice agencies are avialable in your area from this website. :
