ESA after the 12 months has passed. was created by stephano
Hi,
what happens to people, such as myself, who attend WFInterviews, then
a year passes, and no job is found...
the ESA payments are due then to cease.
What happens to claimants then....
finacially and their livelihoods, to say nothing of their health.

Thanks,
and do you have a copy of the income-based ESA form/s? And, how much are the payments, for those successful
with their claim?

Thanks,
and the "components " are add-ons
? My ESA begins 2/12/2011 . So, it ceases on 2/12/2012?, I assume . I read on a government site that Jobcentre plus
are not assigned to "find jobs" for ESA claimants? That their role is more finding the right support for claimants?
Are these statements true?

Yes, you will be paid the personal allowance plus the component.
The legislation does not come into effect until 6 April 2012, so you will continue to receive ESA(CB) until this date.
There is an explanation of the Work Programme in the following FAQ
