Hi R,
LCW = Limited Capability for Work.
Being deemed as having LCW gives the claimant entry to the WRAG of ESA.

Hi,
Thanks a million. It really helps to liase with people who not only have a clear head, (presently mine is all over the place) but also your best interest at heart. By the way what is LCWRA???

Thanks for clarifying that, as i forgot to mention that he is due for another heart related op after 8 weeks, so what you have suggested will definately help his case.
Cheers to you as well Mel.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

I'm so sorry to hear that your husband has had a heart attack, on top of all his other problems. I hope he gets well soon.
This is such a stressful time for you, don't forget to take he time to look after yourself, it won't help either of you if you become ill too!
