Good and bad news.

I was concerned that my medical had been rushed and that it did not take into account my care needs which are to do with my mental health issues.
I have been awarded higher rate mobility but have gone from higher rate care, to lower rate.
My award letter says that the decision was based on my application form and the EMP's report.
I have requested my Drs. report and the EMP's report but was told that the decision maker is looking at my claim again because there was a report that had been forwarded.
Apparently it seems it is my own GP's report.
I'm not sure whether to ask the Decision Maker to look at my case again as I have complained about the EMP and the medical.
Should I wait and see if anything comes from the Decision Maker?
Like alot of others, I am worried that I might lose everything.
My MP is involved with the ATOS complaint and will also support me should I want to go to appeal.
Thanks for reading this lengthy post.

I recently had an ATOS medical which I complained about before I had the DWP decision about renewing my DLA.

Hi,
It maybe worth confirming in writing that the DM is actually reconsidering your case in light of the forwarded report. Experience shows what is said over the phone can often prove to be somewhat 'inaccurate'.
In anycase you are time limited for asking for a reconsideration/appeal to one month from the date of the award letter. Late appeals are only rarely accepted, particularly if you have no written evidence to back up what you say.
However please read Is there any risk to challenging a decision?
