If you are asking for a review of your current DLA entitlement to increase your award because of increased mobility/care needs, you will be sent a review form which is usually a DLA434 or DLA580. It can then take up to eleven weeks to reach a revised decision from the date the forms are completed and received back at the DLA Unit.
If you are asking for a review by means of a reconsideration following an adverse decision on a new or renewal claim, then likewise it will take up to eleven weeks following the date of the receipt of the request for a reconsideration. In either of these circumstances, the DLA Unit should confirm this information in an acknowledgement letter.
