Sharing Claiment Information. was created by RachelPotter
Hi, just had post and have received a P800 Tax Calculation letter.
Luckily I don't owe any tax, but this dates back to 2003-2004, when I was last employed.
Has claiming ESA caused this check? There is a reference, ESA500 on the top of the letter.
Are all agencies now sharing all information?
Is there anything for me to worry about?
Best wishes,
Rachel

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Rachel
Yes the agencies share information, but I don;t think this is specifically related to ESA. See

Racheal strange that cos i recieved a p45 today from the tax office and I havent worked since 1999.
If you check it coincides with the date you have been put on ESA from the transfer over from incapacity benefit.
Wheels in motion, for the DWP.
Regards A.

Hi Article, that is correct.

Racheal I think they are getting ready on mass for the big transfer over as their will be tax implications.
Must say Ive never felt so utterly useless in life.
I even went down to my local Halifax estate agents to ask for a valuation yesterday on my home.
Im one of those on CB based ESA and will be made homeless if I dont start looking to sell my house now that I have a mortgage on.
Its going to be either a council house or private lanlord i will move to if I have the bond, which I dont think I will have.
Up here in Yorkshire they are asking for £500 up front. I wont have that when I sell up as Im in negative equity.
I havent a clue what to do really.
Regards A.
