tribunal was created by aileen
after being on high rate of dla mobility for 11yrs they decided that i was ok now and took away my dla benefits i went to trunal and had a good letter from my consultant,and a bad letter from gp.in the room was a guy representing the dla(goverment) and was going by gp letter ,so now they are sending a doctor to my house on thursday 1st dec,surely my consultant overides my gp?. anyway wish me luck.excuse my spellings

A GP might be expected to have a good overall knowledge of a claimant, whereas a Consultant might be seen as only knowing about a specific aspect of their health. Of course, if they are both talking about your knees, as an example, then it might be reasonable to assume the Consultant has more knowledge.

Totally amazing, people have posted here that their doctor backs them and this is ignored, they are changing the rules as they go along.
