With respect to the 12 Months Rule see here :

12 Month Limit for ESA(CB)

The new legislation is still at committee stage in The Lords.

Some ammendments have been put forward, however the likelyhood is that it will be passed as is, in April 2012.

so that's a virtual no, then!

The Lib-Dem conference voted against the 12-month limit, so I have written a letter to my (Lib-Dem) MP about it - he 'strongly agrees' with me, apparently.

So I haven't entirely given up hope and think it's still worth campaigning on, if you've the energy.

I've been receiving the later ammendments of the Welfarm reform bill (via the UK Parliament site _ services.parliament.uk/bills/2010-11/welfarereform.html

but I can't figure what the status is of the April 2012 ESA CR nasty change. How is one supposed to tell whether this aspect has been ammended or not?

Presumably there would have been another outcry from the interested charities, organisations & agencies maybe even MPs, or have they all been worn down and given up?
Having not found the energy to write earlier is it worth contacting my Conservative MP at this late stage?
