I know there was a thread about this before but I haven't been able to find it.
I have always been paid my incapacity benefit on a Tuesday.
I was transfered to ESA on the 17th of November. The old thread I saw before on here discussed the payment days of ESA changing according to what day they were previously paid for incapacity.
I'm sure it was one of the mods who posted about this previously.
