re change in circumstances. I had a letter a few days ago saying that they have written to my Dr for a report.and this is why I have not heard yet , today I have a letter saying they are dealing with my request as quickly as they can ,and will write when they have more information.
Im wondering if they have heard from the drs yet . and would they have sent me a letter to say they were contacting the gp the same time as they wrote to her , hope its sorted soon, thank you

Hi,

The 'we are dealing with your request as quickly as possible etc etc' is a pretty much standard letter generated during the claim process if no decision has yet been made.

The only way to find out if they have heard from your Dr would be either to ring the DWP and ask, or alternatively make enquiries with your surgery to see if, as or when your GP replied to any request from the DWP for information.

Pete
