I don't think that we can elaborate more on this issue without being speculative

As Gordon rightly points out being placed in the WRAG group without a medical could tend to lead to more appeals not less.

Members are aware that the Discussion Forum has been closed now for several months
due to pressure of work on moderators, and absence of some moderators including myself due to deterioration of their illness/disability.

This thread is developing into a discussion rather than seeking information/advice
about a particular benefit. Therefore, I have decided to lock the thread, which means no further replies can be added by members.

If anyone is unhappy with my decision, then you need to contact the site owner, Steve Donnison by e-mail This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

However, as moderators are in the 'firing line', so as to speak, it's very unusual for Steve not to agree with a moderators decision unless he feels a particular moderator has made a gross error of judgement which on this occasion I believe is not the case.

PLEASE READ THE SPOTLIGHTS AREA OF THE FORUM REGULARLY, OTHERWISE YOU MAY MISS OUT ON IMPORTANT INFORMATION. Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems
