You need to get face to face advice from your local CAB or Welfare Rights office.Hi i was wandering if anyone could help me please, i have recently made a claim for ESA, i am in full time education in college and get Asssembly learning grant, ESA have asked me to send proof of my grant to them but i only get the grant paid if my attendance is over 80% but i will not receive the next payment due to attendance being low , what i am wandering is will ESA take this grant into account and take any money away from me??, i am worrying now
The rules regarding claiming ESA while being a full-time student are quite complicated and can limit your eligibility for the benefit in the first place.

As I said, you need face to face advice so that they can go through the figures with you.yes i have read a lot about it, i do get DLA which i know i need to get to qualify for ESA in full time education.
If your grant is counted as income, then it will be deducted from ESA(IR), but there may be other factors that might affect how this is done, something we cannot cover in the forums.
