Eventually, got Belfast to contact me. They told me I've been put into the WRAG group. I will appeal when the papers come through. Will I have to attend these interviews at the Job Centre while waiting for the appeal?

Yes, see the following FAQ

Do I have to attend WFIs while I appeal?

Hi Gordon and Bro 58,

Thank you very much for your informative replies. I see I have to attend the first mandatory interview but cannot be forced into the work programme. I am in a difficult position as I was medically discharged from my previous employment with an ill health and injury pension back in 1992. I was assessed as losing 100% of my earning capacity and have been reviewed about five times by the chief medical officer with the 100% assessment being given each time. It is regulated that Incapacity benefit ( and ESA ) etc have to be subtracted from the injury pension part and you have to claim them according to the pension regulations. I think I will need advice from my Union.

Thank you once again for your help.
