Received letter for ESA today and am appalled.

Unfortunately your IB is only paid to the end of the current DWP payment cycle, usually 2-3 weeks.

If you appeal, it will include a Reconsideration as well.

Once you have lodged the appeal AND supplied a Fit Note covering the period from the Decision date onwards, you will be eligible for the ESA Assessment rate until your hearing or until the Decision is revised.
