Q12 Awareness of Hazard and Danger was created by puggreen2008
Q12 Awareness of Hazard and Danger is more misleading that the other questions so far.
Because most of this is covered in part one when I describe my inability to do physical tasks do I need to tick these boxes and if I do tick the boxes will implications be made against me because it clashes with my answers in part one?
Thanks!

Have you looked at the ESA Claims for Mental Health and Learning Difficulties guide page 34 onwards.

Hi Gordon,
Yes I have had a good look through this. It doesn't tell me if I have to fill all questions in or tick all boxes.
If I have enough points on the physical side will not filling this in go agains me?
Thanks!

If you are asking if you need to respond to questions that do not apply to you, then you should just tick the "no" boxes as appropriate.

"Please tick this box if you can keep yourself safe when doing everyday tasks such as cooking"

The above is from Q12. I have already told them I don't cook due to problems with standing and I do understand it is re' mental, cognitive and intellectual functions but what does that mean? If I tick NO then I can keep myself safe, contradicting my answer on part one?
How does this question get dealt with?

Thanks !

If you read the guide I pointed you to earlier, you'll see that this question is about whether you need supervision because you are not fully aware of the danger associated with certain activities such as boiling water or using a sharp knife.

If this does not apply to you then you should tick the "no" box and move to the next question, if it does, then you should answer as appropriate.
