Unnecessary questions for moderators was created by Jim Allison BSc, Inst LE, MBIM; MA (Consumer Protection & Social Welfare Law)
Dear Member,

Moderators do their best to answer queries whenever possible, but despite bringing our FAQ's, up to date, many members continue to seek advice about queries which have been answered before frequently in the forum.

Gordon, one of our moderators has taken hours and hours of his own time to keep
the FAQ's up-to-date in the 'Spotlights' area of the forum and as from today all moderators ask members to frequently check the 'Spotlight's area of the forum in their signature, something I personally have done for many months.

To do so please check HERE frequently, otherwise you may miss out on help with IB/ESA or DLA, and the proposed PIP.

I'd once again like to remind members that we are not a 24/7 'on demand' welfare rights service and never can be, as all moderators are volunteers, and with the exception of Steve Donnison, the site owner, we all have chronic il heath/disability ourselves.

Currently we are receiving in excess of well over 1,000 posts per week, all which have to be scrutinised by moderators before they can appear in the forum, mainly for legal reasons.

I'd also like to remind members that their subscription to Benefits and Work is to be able to access the unique guides in the members area written by the site owner, a former WRO and his barrister wife.

The forum is provided as a courtesy and is not part of your subscription.

Benefits and Work has a reputation for providing the most credible, accurate and up-to-date information of any benefits related web site on the internet Please help us to keep it that way by using the FAQ in the Spotlights area, and/ or by using the forum search facility before submitting a post.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Jim

Moved to to top by moderator. Please read the Spotlights area. At least 12 posts today had the answer to the query if members had looked HERE before posting their question.
