spot checks, BICs and forms

Spot checks will be rolled out accross the country from Nov 2011 via BDC centres converted to BIC centres.

Could anyone clarify what happens for a spot check:

If on Income support :- this means you would be sent an A2 form to fill in ?

If on DLA :- this means you would be sent a DLA80 form to fill in ?

If on any ESA :- this means what exactly ?

Is there any further info on what triggers spot checks for ESA claimants and what % of total ESA claimants get spot checked each year ? Plus any other info..
