I am currently receiving high rate mobility and low rate care for an indefinate period and now feel I warrant a higher care award due to worsening of my condition.
When applying for an increase in the care component do I also have to complete the section of the form relating to my mobility problems?

Hi Stuart
You don't have to refer to Mobility, in order to apply for an increase in Higher Rate Care.
You need to set out the increased help you need from someone else (needs arising) and don't just rely on a medical condition.
You should read the B&W links to the guides below and also the warning, as you may be in danger of losing an existing award, of both components, under 'is there any risk to challenging a decision'.
