Thinking about Appealing Disallowance

Hi there just need a bit of advice.Thinking of appealing my latest disallowance and need a bit of advice.Was looking through the claim pack and copy Of Atos Medical Report have noticed that where I was awarded 6 points for not being able to sit for more than 20 minutes without having to move, on the scoring sheet in the pack it says I should have been awarded 9 points.Is it okay to state that in the appeal along with what I feel I should have been scored in other areas or is that too specific?Sorry if that is a stupid question but my brain is a bit foggy at the best of times? Thank you

Hi J,

Yes, it can only help your appeal, if you point out any discrepancies, and go into detail of why you feel that you qualify for an award of ESA.

Remember that once you appeal, your award will be looked at again, (reconsidered) by a different DWP DM, only if the decision is not changed at this stage will your appeal be sent forward to the Tribunals Service
